Epidemiology
Hantavirus is a kind of enveloped, segmented, negative-strand RNA virus. Hantavirus is divided into two types: one causes Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS), and the other causes Hantavirus hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS). The former is mainly prevalent in Europe and the United States, and the latter is hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome caused by Hantaan virus, which is common in China. The symptoms of hantavirus hantaan type mainly manifest as hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, which is characterized by high fever, hypotension, bleeding, oliguria or polyuria and other renal function impairment. It is pathogenic to humans and should be paid enough attention to.

Recommended extraction reagents: Macro & Micro-Test Viral DNA/RNA Kit (HWTS-3017) (which can be used with Macro & Micro-Test Automatic Nucleic Acid Extractor (HWTS-EQ011)) by Jiangsu Macro & Micro-Test Med-Tech Co., Ltd. The extraction should be conducted according to the IFU. The extraction sample volume is 200μL. The recommended elution volume is 80μL.
