Epidemiology

Hepatitis B is an infectious disease with liver and multiple organ lesion caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV). Most people experience symptoms such as extreme fatigue, appetite loss, lower limbs or whole-body edema, hepatomegaly, etc. 5% of adult patients and 95% of children patients infected from their mother cannot clean the HBV virus efficiently in persistent infection and progress to liver cirrhosis or primary liver cell carcinoma.

Recommended extraction reagents: Macro & Micro-Test Virus DNA/RNA Kit (HWTS-3017) (which can be used with Macro & Micro-Test Automatic Nucleic Acid Extractor (HWTS-EQ011)) by Jiangsu Macro & Micro-Test Med-Tech Co., Ltd.. The extraction should be started according to the IFU of the extraction reagent. The extracted sample volume is 200µL and the recommended elution volume is 80 μL.

Recommended extraction reagents: Nucleic Acid Extraction or Purification Reagents (YDP315). The extraction should be started in strict accordance with the IFU. The extracted sample volume is 200µL and the recommended elution volume is 100 μL.
