Six Respiratory Pathogens
Product name
HWTS-RT175-Six Respiratory Pathogens Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescence PCR )
Epidemiology
Respiratory infections are the most common group of human diseases that can occur in any gender, age and geographic area and are one of the most significant causes of morbidity and mortality in populations worldwide. The common clinical respiratory pathogens include respiratory syncytial virus, adenovirus, human metapneumovirus, rhinovirus, parainfluenza virus (I/II/III) and Mycoplasma pneumoniae. Clinical signs and symptoms caused by respiratory tract infections are relatively similar, but the treatment, efficacy, and duration of the disease vary among infections caused by different pathogens. Currently, the main methods for laboratory detection of the above respiratory pathogens include: virus isolation, antigen detection and nucleic acid detection. This kit assists in the diagnosis of respiratory viral infections by detecting and identifying specific viral nucleic acids in individuals with signs and symptoms of respiratory infections, in combination with other clinical and laboratory findings.
